EuADS Summer School 2025: Advancing Automated Data Science in Luxembourg

The European Association for Data Science (EuADS) is set to host its much-anticipated Summer School 2025, focusing on the transformative field of Automated Data Science (AutoDS). Scheduled from Tuesday, July 8th to Friday, July 11th, 2025, the event will take place at the Maison d’Accueil (Convent of the Franciscan Sisters) in Luxembourg-Belair. This immersive program is tailored for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career professionals with a foundation in data science, statistics, machine learning, AI, or related disciplines.

Embracing the Future with Automated Data Science

As data science projects grow in complexity and the demand for rapid, scalable solutions increases, AutoDS emerges as a pivotal innovation. By automating tasks such as data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, evaluation, and deployment, AutoDS streamlines workflows, making advanced data science accessible to a broader audience. The Summer School will delve into these advancements through a series of expert-led tutorials, addressing both the potentials and challenges of automation in data science.

Public Event: Honoring Legacy and Exploring Neurosymbolic AI

The Summer School will commence with a public event on Tuesday, July 8th at 15:00, featuring the Sabine-Krolak-Schwerdt Lecture in memory of EuADS’ founding president. Luc De Raedt from KU Leuven will present on “Neurosymbolic AI: Learning and Reasoning for Trustworthy AI,” discussing the integration of symbolic reasoning with neural networks to enhance AI’s reliability and interpretability. This event is open to the public at no cost, with prior registration required via email at contact@euads.org.
